The World Uraveling

Beloved,

How are you feeling?

If it's anything at all like what I've been feeling...it's a lot.

It's uncomfortable. It's tears at unexpected moments. It's heavy.

As someone who focuses on creating safe space to feel seen, heard, loved and accepted ~ I'm doing my best to show up in a way that promotes peace and solidarity, rather than create more division. Because what I know is that war begets more war. I'm doing my best to support the women in my community, while also holding myself, while also letting myself be held. I'm doing my best to stay as The Witness, the observer of my human, and to breathe deeply there.

We are ALL just doing our best.

Everyone experiences tragedy differently, based on their past, their ancestry, their beliefs, what they feel is right or wrong. Know that whatever you're feeling, you have a right to your experience.

My greatest prayer is that we all connect to the divinity within ourselves, and to recognize that the greatest illness is the delusion that we are separate from one another.

I pray that all beings connect to the spark of God (Source, Creator, Spirit) that exists within them and every living thing. Regardless of whether one's mind and ego have totally disconnected from it or not...that spark is there.

On This New Moon

A solar eclipse takes place 4 minutes after the October 14th New Moon at 1:55pm EST.

A very relevant point was raised during our online Women's Circle last week. It was that if we want to heal the chaos in the world, we need to first heal the chaos within ourselves and our minds. If we want to see less bullying around us, we need to stop bullying ourselves. If we want to see more love and respect outside, we need to cultivate true self-love and respect inside.

Then, as I was writing this writing I looked in my moon planner to see the Mantra for this Libra New Moon. It is: "I work to cocreate harmonious relationships by first identifying how to be in self-harmony."

Wow. How aligned.

As a New Moon ritual ~ please pray for kindness within yourself, and see that kindness ripple out into the collective. It does not mean to keep your frustrations about what is happening silent. There ARE safe spaces to share and connect with others who are feeling the same and can hold you there (hit reply if you need support finding them).

Instead, what I'm saying is to focus your attention on what you want to see in the world.

Because...

What we need are prayers of peace, not more war.
What we need are prayers of solidarity, not more division.
What we need is to feel safe speaking our truth, so have compassion for those with differing opinions. Hold them in your heart and pray for the place within them that feels pain.

May all beings be happy.
May all beings be peaceful.
May all beings be free.
