"I've Got You, My Child"

“I've got you, my child”

She says, as I collapse into her tall grass.

As my tears pour into her soils softening the ground.

As I wail to the skies, feeling her underneath me, holding me.

"I've got you, my child"

She says, as I scream my pain into her stones.

As she nourishes the ache with bird songs and crickets.

As I breathe my soft belly into her, womb to womb.

"I've got you, my child"

She says, as I drum my prayers to the trees.

As I lay down in exhaustion and let her work her magic on my energy body.

As my field becomes realigned with her natural cycles, bringing me back into harmony, balance, and home to who I truly am.

She doesn't show me the way. She helps me find peace and trust that the way is opening in front of me, and into that truth I can surrender all worry or concern.

It is here, in the heart of the mother earth, that I can truly rest.
